SEASCAPE

Like many of Albee's plays, Seascape focuses on communication in interpersonal relationships, in this case between couples. It has elements of comedy, fantasy, satire, and absurdism.
An elderly couple on the verge of major life change of retirement, are having problems in their relationship when they meet two human-sized lizards who speak and act like people.  What the lizards experience with humans nearly drives them back to the sea, but with an offer of help from the human couple, they decide to stay.

INVESTIGATION

Through work with these great actors of the national theater and experienced associates, to my satisfaction, this text has shown that it has the energy that raises questions connected to many issues concerning the society and the time in which we live. A universal story of politics, violence and injustice. The eternal question of where God is when He is most needed.

GLORIOUS

A Hilarious comedy about the worst singer in the world. The performer who everyone wanted to see live was Florence Foster Jenkins known as 'the first lady of the sliding scale'.
Based upon a true story, the play spins from Florence's charity recitals and extravagant balls, her bizarre recording sessions to an ultimate triumph at the Carnegie Hall.

MADAME ROSA

This novel originally called The Life Before Us (French: La vie devant soi) is a masterpiece of literature that finds its great mission in dramatic form, in the vibrant contact of the audience with the characters on stage. We could say that this is a story about the beauty of the emotions that we have forgotten. A tragedy that is being overcome by the warmth of human relationships.

A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

I started this project sure that this is a good theatrical literature and that I will encounter an inexhaustible richness of possibilities in illuminating characters, situations and topics that remain for eternity. This is a story about people who are fighting for existence and society where there is no mercy at the moment when all doors are closed. No support is given by the closest ones, but the problem is resolved by the definitive rejection of a loser.
This drama deals with topics that are unfortunately very acute even more so in our own society: domestic violence, abuse of women, misery and poverty, physical and spiritual.
In this inspiring text I encountered traces of Chekhov, and also those of  Freudian eroticism, buried deep in the darkness of the unconscious that manifests in these characters through rebellion, despair and aggression.

ANGELIQUE

The comic opera Angelique appeared in 1926. By its language, style and expression, it shows plenty of features and ways of Ibert’s musical expression. In addition to arias and ensembles, it features acted parts with dramatic fragments. The composer uses language that involves many styles and directions, Ibert reaches jazz as well and tries to characterize different nationalities of Angelique’s customers and suitors in mélange manner.  It is as a farce, stylish but impudent, academically formulated but also very ironic and sarcastic at times, never exceeding good taste.

SUGAR DADDIES

In this drama, I recognized the story and characters that make up our reality. Everything is familiar to us, recognizable and "normal". This is a story about a girl who chooses the easy way to get everything: work, expensive things, good fun.

ARSENIK AND OLD LACE

The play is a farcical black comedy revolving around the Brewster family composed of insane homicidal maniacs.
The family includes two spinster aunts who have taken to murdering lonely old men by poisoning them with a glass of home-made elderberry wine laced with arsenic, strychnine, and "just a pinch" of cyanide; a brother who believes he is Theodore Roosevelt and digs locks for the Panama Canal in the cellar of the Brewster home which then serve as graves for the aunts victims.

MOON IN FLAMES

Milena Pavlović Barilli was a very intriguing person, elusive, mystical and surprising. Her life and work are merged in a miraculous, artistic madness. She was a sophisticated artist with the enormous creative energy and she had to have the fate of the similar artists born here. She lived between the longing for her house and her homeland, Pozarevac and Belgrade, and the world which was the only place where she could find confirmation and acceptance as an artist and unique person.
Realizing that such a modest project cannot present full complexity of her life and work, I am, however, pleased that it can introduce us into her world.

DNA

Mike and Lisa Davis arrive at the apartment of Tobi Powell, who lives alone in Inwood, on the northern tip of Manhattan. They are there to interview him about his life as a dancer and choreographer, but it is soon evident that their agenda is as multilayered as the life story that Tobi begins to tell them. What happens next will either ruin or inspire them – and definitely change their lives forever.

BARON AT THE TREES

A magnificent metaphor, romantic, funny and a bit farcical, the Baron in the Trees speaks to all generations – from 10-year-old children to elders in their golden years – all of whom recognize the dreamer in themselves, the dreamer we all used to be.

THE INDIAN WANTS THE BRONX

The Indian wants the Bronx is the award-winning play by Israel Horowitz and first performed by Al Pacino. It is a powerful and disturbing study of the mindless cruelty of two teenage boys towards an Indian stranger.
This drama is a small masterpiece that exposes the mechanism of violence and the psychology of the violent, who themselves are marginalized, living on the edge of society and embracing violence as a primary means of expression.

BLONDE JEWISH GIRL

Blonde Jewish Girl is a Bosnian version of Romeo and Juliet, a romantic tragedy about the forbidden love between a Jewish girl and a Serbian boy. Weaving drama and music, the show features a blend of Bosnian songs, sevdalinka, and Jewish songs from the Sephardic tradition, performed live on stage by the band Shira u'tfila and guest musician from Bosnia, Vlada Savic.
Set in Bosnia at the beginning of the 20th century, the story continues to resonate today as a timeless tale of intolerance and prejudice towards any identity considered "other".

THE VISIT

A story of greed and justice, in which the wealth and power of an aging woman who returns to her decaying hometown reveals the weakness of human morality and the strength of revenge.
This adaptation pares the story down to the three characters of Claire, the old lady; Ill, her former lover; and the town’s mayor.  A troupe of dancers portrays the villagers, as they first resist and then give in to temptation.

VISITING MR. GREEN

The play deals with the lives and destinies of minorities and their struggle to find their rightful place in a world in which  an arrogant majority relegates them to the margins of society.   At the same time, the play reveals how minorities themselves mimic the exclusiveness, arrogance and aggression they struggle against.

ADDRESS UNKNOWN

Address Unknown belongs among the great and irreplaceable texts on the Holocaust, like the Diary of Anne Frank (1947) and Szpilman's Pianist (1996), an unavoidable document which speaks about the creation and continuity of fascism as a new, little-known pestilence on the European political stage.

Witty solutions, cool humor, numerous duets, trios, Rita’s arias, comical turns, exceptionally pleasing melody, not very pretentious orchestra are all together the witnesses of the best elements of Donizetti’s language and style.

BLACKSMITHS

A comedy with elements of the theatre of absurd, revolving around three blacksmiths that achieved their best during times of war when they served as soldiers, failing however to prove themselves in every other segment of their lives.  In the end, the meaning of life turns out to be making knifes for the next war that they all miss.

ELECTRA

This drama was written in 1968 by one of the greatest Serbian and world-renowned writers, Danilo Kis, who was commissioned to adapt Euripides’ Elektra.  Kis soon discovered a strong parallel with contemporary times and the bloody Balkan history, which inspired him to create a new drama that completely changed the psychological and ethical nature of the original play.
Born to a Montenegrin mother and a Jewish father, Kis has felt the dark colours of inheritance – a concept of revenge that remains vibrant in Balkans – against which he fights.

DEW DRINKER

This performance is an homage to poet Petru Krdu. His life was a rich inspiration for playwright Sanja Domazet to write this text and for me to create the piece about the artist, his loneliness with his longing, rebellion, despair, insufficient love and vulnerability. To everything that made the life and work of the poet, citizen of Vršac, where he remained to live until his last days, realizing that his duty and responsibility was to do the most to leave them legacy of belief in beauty and art.

This common name came after both of them deal with art - as a symbol of beauty, excitement, happiness - and its strong influence on our psyche.
